We appreciate your comment – we’ve reflected on this point since the last fair, and we’re working toward a more diverse and more encompassing fair next year (and organizing team now!). We want to bring a wider range of communities and perspectives to help us understand education institutions and their role in ongoing colonialism, white supremacy, capitalism, etc. and how we can fight against these — especially highlighting the perspectives, experiences, and histories of folks most marginalized by education. If you have more ideas, critiques, and/or people you think need to be involved in this or highlighted by the fair, please share with us! If you’d like to talk more in-depth about this, send us an email at tcedfair@gmail.com.
